With the London Fashion Week version of Viigo you can access catwalk schedules, designer biographies, photos from the runways, live news reports, the official Twitter streams and more.

The Catwalk Schedule provides a day-by-day event listings with associated designer and the designers biographical information.

The Designers channel features biographical information of each of the designers.

If you are visiting London for the event you will also benefit from having local bar, hotel, restaurant and shop information.

All the breaking news from the event is immediately available to you as well.

Follow London Fashion Week’s official Twitter stream. And, not only can you view a post, you can retweet it, reply to it and reply to all mentioned in the post.

And, of course, what fashion show would be complete without photos? Get the best shots on your BlackBerry smartphone.

Get the live scores, standings, schedule, breaking news and more for free on your BlackBerry or Windows Mobile device.

To follow the EUFA Champions League on Viigo, enter the Sports module and select “Add Sports” and from the list select “Soccer” then “UEFA Champions League”.

At this point you have the option of getting the feeds for league wide schedule, Live Scores, Completed Games Scores and Standings. Further, you can enter the Team Scores & Schedules folder to get team specific information. Once in the folder, select the group your favorite team in is, for instance Group H for Arsenal and then choose the Schedule and/or Live Scores feeds.

Once you have added the feeds, they will be available to you the next time you enter the Sports module. And you can follow your team and the league.

Bend it like Viigo!

To add tennis to your Viigo, from the home screen enter the Sports module and select Add Sport. From the list choose tennis.

At this point you are presented with a choice of adding men’s tennis (ATP), women’s tennis (WTA) or tennis news. Of course, you can add them all. For both tours, you can follow live matches, see the upcoming schedule, see the player rankings, and the official twitter stream.

Once the channels have been added, the next time you enter the sport module the tennis service will be available to you. Follow the matches as they are played, view the rankings, read the Twitter stream, view the tournaments that are coming up or that have past and access the breaking tennis news.

Advantage Viigo!

Following is what you need to do to track your packages in Viigo.

Enter the Local Interest module and select Add Channel.

From the list select Packaging Tracking. You will then be asked to provide a tracking number. At this point we provide you the option to associate a label or name with the package in question. If a label is not provided the reference you will see when you return to see the delivery progress will be the tracking number itself.

Once a number has been entered, when you return to the main Local Interest screen you will see that the package tracking service has been added. Enter the service to see the packages you are tracking.  Select a package to see where it is at that moment in time.

Neither rain, sleet, snow or hail can stop Viigo from knowing where you mail is.

By delivering books in installments on a daily basis, DailyLit has been set up to make it easy to read an eBook on your smartphone. Here is how it works.

Enter the Entertainment module from the homepage and select Add Channel.

From the list choose eBooks from DailyLit then choose a folder from which you would like to make your book selection. Of note, with this update there is a new folder, Contemporary Reads.

The last step is to pick the books you want to read. The next time you enter the Entertainment module you will see the DailyLit service has been added and within it you will see the books you had requested.

Select the book that you want to read and you will see that the first installments are available. Click on the first one and start reading. Installments will continue to be delivered to you on a daily basis until the book has been completed.

The service allows you to see the scores update while the games are being played, view the standings broken down by division and access the league schedule.

You can even purchase tickets directly from your BlackBerry.

There is also a news feed direct from the CFL.ca website that brings you the latest info on what’s happening in the league. And you can post the article to Twitter with one click!

The Viigo YouTube service now let’s you choose amongst 23 countries (with an additional worldwide option), each with 15 categories (with the US having one extra category) and 9 channels.

To add new YouTube channels, enter the Entertainment module, select “Add Channel” then “YouTube”. From there, pick you r region(s), category(ies) and channel(s) of choice.

When you return to the YouTube service, all the channels you had selected are now available to you.

Note: you must be running a BB OS 4.5 or higher … and please please please make sure your data plan covers lots of data usage (or use WiFi)  … videos tend to consume lots of bandwidth.

By downloading the ExploreMusic.com version of Viigo, http://getviigo.com/exploremusic, you will have access to all of the content that’s on the ExploreMusic.com website.

Whether your interest is to listen to podcasts, read album reviews or see recommendations on Music, it is all available to you immediately on download.

You can even view the Explore Music Twitter posts from Alan Cross directly from within the ExploreMusic.com module, no need to access Twitter.

Located in the Local Interest module, the service gives Viigo users the ability to call a cab with one click. You will then have the option of having the service recommend the taxicab company best able to serve the call or allow a connection to a preferred cab company. To do this, enter the Call a Taxi channel and click on the top banner (outlined in green in the picture below).

By using the Call a Taxi service you can avoid busy signals when connecting to a taxicab dispatch and find the first available taxicab company dispatch during the busiest of times.

Adding the Call a Taxi service to your Viigo is a two step process. First, from within the Local Interest Module, select Add a Channel. Second, select call a taxi from the menu presented.

Adding a Podcast.com channel can be done in seconds. Enter the Audio & Podcast module and select “Add Audio & Podcasts”.

A library of 22 categories of podcasts ranging from Technology to Business is provided.

Once you have selected you channels, listening to a podcast is as simple as selecting the feed and pressing play.

Adding a feed is easy and can be done in three steps.

Those of you running the latest version of Viigo will have noticed a new folder called “Deals”.

Thanks to our partnership with Gazaro, you can now subscribe to live feeds of the hottest deals across a wide range of consumer electronics. Alternately, you can choose to subscribe directly to feeds from your favorite stores, including Wal-mart, Amazon, BestBuy, etc.

Opening the Deals folder and clicking on “Add Channel” gets you a diverse list of Deal Channels …

Once you have selected all the deals you are interested in, they appear in your deals folder.

The deal page also includes a very useful price trend graph which helps you make instant and informed buying decisions.

If you want to purchase the item (before the deal expires!) you can do so right within Viigo …. click “Buy Now” and we’ll take you to the Vendor’s purchase page!

Our weather service, which is delivered in partnership with Accuweather, is one of the most popular services within Viigo. Each day, hundreds of thousands of people check the weather on Viigo, and we owe them the best weather experience we can provide.

Earlier versions of Viigo’s weather service suffered from a couple of key issues … (1) for cities with few subscribers, collection times were often long, resulting in the weather being out of date, and (2) for detailed information, we forced you to open a web page (a slow and sometimes arduous process).

We’ve not only improved both of those things, we’ve actually added some important features.

Here’s a look at the new weather screen for a city (in this example New York). You’ll see live current conditions … and a 5 day forecast, including a summary of the expected conditions.

Clicking on the Current conditions, brings you additional details, delivered without the need for you to launch an external browser.

For cities within North America, scrolling down further will get you a live radar image, so you can see what storms might be approaching.

Note: in order to fully take advantage of Weather 2.0, you’ll need to remove your current weather cities and add the new ones, and you’ll need to be running the latest version of Viigo.

For those who are more interested in the European game all this functionality is also available for UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup, English Premier League, Serie A and La Liga.

To add any of the soccer features go to Sports and select Add Sports. The list of currently supported sports is presented. From the list select Soccer or European Football. The following screen presents the list of leagues you can choose from.

At this point you can add the channels that represent the entire league. Because we are FC fans we also want to make it easy to get access to our team’s info.

The MLS schedule feature presents all the upcoming games. Click through to one more level and info on the venue and start time and more is presented. To add this to a schedule simply by clicking on the menu button and selecting add to Calendar. This can also be shared with the folks in a social network using the one-click tweet feature.  The schedule feature is also available on a team by team basis.

Live scores unables you to follow the game as it is happening while completed game scores gives you the results from games past. Further to that is the ability to get greater detail on the venue and share the score with your friends via Twitter.

Both the live scores and complete game scores are also available on a per team basis.

Also available is standings. This has been broken up in to Eastern standings and Western standings. If you were to click on any of the teams, you will get the details on their season to date, including home record, visiting record, record in the conference and versus the other conference, goals for and against and more.

Viigo also provides a great deal of news within its Soccer channel.

In FIFA.com you can see the headlines that provide a run down on all the breaking stories. One click further brings you a synopsis. From there you can send the story to a friend or yourself via email, Tweet the story, post it to delicious or view the entire article.

Goal.com has similarly keep you current on the world of soccer.
